Banana Boat

My wife and I had lunch here at about 1:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026. We'd had a drink here on a previous trip to the area in April of 2025, and really liked the clean and upscale atmosphere. I made a reservation a few days before we arrived since it was the tail end of the snowbird season, and this place gets very crowded during that time. We got a window side table overlooking the intracoastal waterway and drawbridge, and had a great lunch. The food and service was great and the staff here were all very pleasant, professional and well-groomed. We will definitely go back again the next time we visit Palm Beach County.

Lovely food, great service and atmosphere. We sat inside as it was a hot day in early May but had a window seat with view over the inlet. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and was surprised that it was served without lettuce and tomato in the bun. However, this was rectified by our server. My only other complaint was the soft drink glasses were ridiculously small, about half the regular size. Thankfully the service was so good that this wasn't a problem as diet coke refills kept coming without having to ask.

Banana Boat was a lot of fun. We went to the bar, ate and drank. Their guacamole was so fresh and generous portions and delicious. The Cuban sandwich was also wonderful. The stirfry was the perfect portion and taste and so enjoyable. The beers were super cold. The Mojitos were top-notch. The bartenders were attentive. Highly recommend fun atmosphere with great ocean views.

Wow. I’ve been coming here as a kid but I was gone to Chicago the last 6 years… I’m 32 now. It’s just as amazing as I remember but even better. Absolutely gorgeous and the food was exquisite. Ashleigh was our waitress and she was so friendly, professional and excellent. The shrimp and scallop scampi is THE dish to get too haha. It’s my new favorite spot all over again.
