This was our first time here and we had an amazing experience tonight! The drinks and the food were delicious. We can’t stop talking about the beignets and the croissant bread pudding – do not skip those! Sarai was our server and she was the best! She gave us great recommendations and she has the sweetest personality. We will definitely be back again!

Julian was amazing, attentive and friendly. He made great recommendations. The food and drinks were awesome and the vibe was so chill. Live band and eccentric decor. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Worth the drive.

We had such a great experience at Voodoo Bayou! Riley, our waiter, was amazing, super friendly, gave awesome recommendations, and checked on us often without ever being overbearing. You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience. Another waitress, Kayla, even stopped by to say hello and make sure we were doing well, which made it feel so warm and welcoming, like you’re hanging out in someone’s living room in the best way. For food, we started with the biscuits, which were SO good, and the wood fired chili butter oysters that Riley recommended. The oysters were honestly one of the most delicious things I’ve had in a long time. For our mains, I had the jambalaya and my boyfriend got the Cajun carbonara, and both were incredible. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and even better service!

My husband took me here for Mother’s Day Brunch and it was phenomenal! Our Server Maddox was awesome! His personality, suggestions, explanations and insights were superb. Thank you Maddox for making my day even better but most importantly I highly recommend this place. The live band was amazing too! Shrimp & Grits with a Crab Cake, OMG! Delicious!

Great food overall. The oysters Rockefeller were by far the best thing on the menu, in my opinion—they were so good we even ordered another to go. My husband, who is very particular about gumbo, was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it, so we got an extra one to go as well. Unfortunately, the to-go portion had way too much rice and not enough gravy. The chicken wings were crispy, smoky, and full of flavor—definitely a highlight. I didn’t care for the Caesar salad; it had capers and seeds, which made it feel very non-traditional. We also ordered the chicken dinner with rice to go, and it was a bit disappointing—not terrible, but not something I’d order again. Our bill came out to $174, which felt a little overpriced for what we got, but overall the food was still good. This is definitely a place where you just need to know what to order. The waiter was kind and attentive, which made the experience even better.
