Calaveras Cantina

Enjoyed the lunch here and came back for happy hour. Our server was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The tacos were delicious and full of flavor, and I especially liked their original take on the Caesar salad—it was a nice surprise. The outdoor seating is a great bonus and makes it a really pleasant place to eat outside. Overall, a relaxed, enjoyable lunch spot with good food and great service.

We had a fantastic experience at Calaveras Cantina. We started with the tableside guacamole with the works, including pork belly, corn, and queso fresco, and it was absolutely spectacular. It was fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the homemade nacho chips. For our mains, the steak quesadillas were really delicious, but the standout was definitely the birria tacos. The consommé was completely out of this world, and the barbacoa beef was incredibly succulent and full of flavor. We also had margaritas, and they were fantastic. A special shoutout to our server, Dish, who took great care of us and did an excellent job throughout the meal. Great food, great drinks, and great service. We’ll definitely be back.

This was a surprise and a delight!!! We had an incredible evening in a Friday night. 4 friends for a delicious meal and a biggest moment was when the DJ started jamming and a live percussion started, around 9 pm. It was a blast! Lots of dancing, everyone that was passing by had to stop for a at least a song ! It turned into a great party! Where everyone was dancing there would out! The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious! Great service, great entertainment. Parking was a little challenging but possible. Safe area, lots of families, friends and couples hanging out. The surroundings are stunning with lovely stores and walkable pathways. Lots to do around, but definitely a spot to come back to!

Great first meal at Calaveras! Fun vibe and busy on a Saturday night. Service first and foremost was stellar. The manager Shane was so friendly and caring and answered all of our questions regarding serious food allergies. She was amazing!!! Our waiter Dish was so kind and attentive and helped from the second I entered the restaurant (helped me find my wife) and he also gave great food and drink recommendations. My wife loved her Mezcal drink (El Pastor??) We enjoyed the nacho appetizer with Barbacoa. My wife’s carne asada fajitas dinner was amazing – steak was so juicy and tender! My salad was exactly what I was looking for – light and delicious.Finally the homade Tres leches – huge and soo delicious. Make a reservation and leave time for parking. Very busy Mizner Park shopping area in Boca.

Good and service were excellent here. This is the second calavera restaurant that I eat at. The first was up in Jupiter. Their food is delicious. The guac was made table side to order. We had different tacos and they were all really good. I also recommend you get their fried churro donut with ice cream. It melts in your mouth.
