MD Now Urgent Care – West Palm Beach

Gwen and Dr Thompson took the absolute best care of me. They made sure I had all of my information correct and that I was healthy as possible to return back to my daily duties. I am so grateful for these wonderful ladies

Absolutely disgraceful experience at MD Now on Palm Beach Lakes. I have been going there for around 20 years, and after this visit, I will never step foot in that place again. The level of disrespect, attitude, and complete lack of professionalism from the staff was unbelievable. We got called to the back, and while I was helping my wife get settled, I tried speaking to the nurse and introducing myself. She was immediately rude and dismissive. I asked her name, told her mine was Anthony, and instead of acting like a normal professional, she stared at me, stayed quiet, got on her laptop, and then said, “You’re not my patient, you have to wait until you’re spoken to.” That is one of the most arrogant, ignorant, and disrespectful things I have ever heard from someone working in healthcare. Then Dr. Dan came in and acted no better. He was just as dismissive, and my wife literally had to tell him, “He’s talking to you,” just to get him to acknowledge me. That is embarrassing for a medical office. My mother works in the medical field, and I have never in my life seen professionals behave this cold, rude, and nasty toward a patient’s spouse or family member. Healthcare workers do not have to be fake, but they do need to show basic decency, respect, and professionalism. That did not happen here. The staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience instead of people who came there for care. Terrible service, nasty attitudes, zero bedside manner, and absolutely no respect. This place has gone completely downhill. Never again. Here’s an even sharper version for Google if you want something shorter: Absolutely horrible experience. Terrible staff, terrible attitude, and zero respect for patients and their families.

All staff members were amazing! They were kind, genuinely caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt heard and respected and received individualized care. Jerikita was especially caring and helpful.

This visit was for my mom, and we had a very positive experience. We completed the check-in forms online ahead of time, which made the process smooth and efficient. When we arrived at the MD Now (PB Lakes location), the wait was minimal — about 8 minutes. The center is conveniently located and easy to access. The staff was welcoming, professional, and very friendly from the moment we walked in. I especially appreciated the doctor’s care and attention. She was thorough, patient, and took the time to address all of my concerns without making us feel rushed. Overall, we felt well cared for and would definitely return if needed.

I barely had to wait at all. They made the whole visit smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated. It’s always a relief to find a place where the staff genuinely cares about helping people. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs urgent care.
