This was my first experience with purchasing a vehicle at Car Max. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, which is saying something, considering I have never been a fan of the car buying process. From thr communication, since I had a truck shipped in, to the customer service provided when I went in to the store. It was seamless and stress free. I am beyond excited about my new truck and would recommend Car Max to others.

Serious sales error on a $90,000 purchase — deeply disappointing I spent 6 hours at this dealership on a Saturday making a very serious purchase — a 2022 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG for nearly $90,000, with a $10,000 cash down payment and a trade-in vehicle included. I was as committed a buyer as it gets. During the entire process I explicitly requested specific products and coverage from my salesperson Richard Tomlinson. Six days after my purchase, he called me to inform me that what I had requested was never included in my contract — due to a CarMax error, not mine. When I brought this to their attention, the "solutions" they offered me were: refinance the car after only 6 days of ownership, or pay nearly $5,000 out of my own pocket for the extended warranty they forgot to include. And the best the store manager could do was $300 off. On a $90,000 purchase. Because of THEIR mistake. That is not a solution — that is a joke. I am still within my 10-day return window and seriously considering using it. CarMax Corporate is now involved and I am waiting for a real resolution. If you are considering purchasing here — especially on a high value vehicle — read every single line of your contract before you leave the dealership. Do not assume that what you explicitly requested was actually included. Learn from my experience. I will update this review once this is resolved.

The Carmax in Boynton Beach is excellent. I was selling a relative's car, and each and every employee was amazing. It started from the time I walked in until when I left. The employees were all respectful, efficient and kind. In today's world, you rarely see such amazing teamwork. All employees were happy and seemed glad to be there. You won't be disappointed if you go to this dealership.

I had an awesome experience with David Escobar. He helped me with my trade-in, and with the purchase of a 2025 Kia Soul in February 2026. David was really great to work with. And he went above and beyond in helping me with an issue I had recently. I highly recommend doing business with CarMax in Boynton Beach.
