IPIC Theaters

EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL AND DISCRIMNATORY. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A MINORITY. I was just brutally discriminated by the general manager of this IPIC. His name is NATHAN WATSON. I purchased tickets to see Mortal Kombat for me and my gf and we had never been there before. There was a dessert table in the middle of the room and she grabbed 1 small brownie thinking it was complimentary. Nathan then approached us and told us it wasn’t free and told us to leave. Very impolitely. We informed him that we were new and didn’t know the food was only part of the buffet package and even offered to pay. He then CALLED THE POLICE ON US and had us trespassed off the property and REFUSED to give a REFUND. There were NO SIGNS explaining the food was off limits and no explanations offered before hand. They were EXTREMELY UNREASONABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and EMOTIONAL. I hope this place finds a manager who isn’t so angry, emotional, disorganized and can hopefully run a proper establishment. He is pictured here, in blue, on the left along with the subpar dessert tray.

We had a really nice experience at iPic. When we first arrived, we had a little trouble finding our theater, but a staff member named Jermaine personally walked me and my family all the way there, which immediately made us feel welcomed. Our children were with us and they had an amazing time. They’re usually pretty picky when it comes to food, but Chef Jermaine gave us some great recommendations that everyone ended up enjoying. The crispy rice tuna sushi he suggested was honestly one of the best I’ve had, and the heart-shaped cake he recommended for me and my husband was delicious. Everything paired perfectly with our drinks and made the night feel extra special. We were there watching a kids movie, and by the way go see The Goat! Our 12-year-old highly recommends it and we all thought it was an awesome movie. The popcorn was also really good definitely make this a cheat day if you’re on a diet because the food is worth it. Overall, the experience was comfortable, the service was thoughtful, and the staff really went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly for our family. We’ll definitely be back. 🙂

I love the Mizner Park location in Boca. Very clean, friendly staff, and the food was great. The reclining seats were very comfortable. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings and my husband had the boss burger with sweet potato fries and he really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this theater to friends and family.

My wife and I were really looking forward to a late-night movie at IPIC in Boca Raton, especially to watch Deadpool/Wolverine. We planned to enjoy a few cocktails at the bar downstairs before the movie, but unfortunately, upon entering, the entire floor and restaurant area smelled like sewage. It was absolutely awful and honestly surprising that they remained open. The overwhelming smell certainly took away from the joy of our late-night date and we could even smell it a bit upstairs. When we got to our seats, they weren’t cleaned properly. They were covered in glitter and oil from someone else’s head. Fortunately, we had wipes, so we cleaned them ourselves. Additionally, there was a green light shining into our eyes throughout the entire movie from the left side of the theater, which was quite distracting. For how expensive the tickets are, it’s a shame the movie experience wasn’t more enjoyable. The overall conditions, from the unpleasant smell to the dirty seats and the distracting light, really detracted from what should have been a fun and relaxing night out.

my food was 45 minutes late into the movie. Everybody else had received their food and was done with it. When I asked to speak to a manager afterwards and explain the situation all he said was sorry they were backed up. I asked if he would take off my meal for the inconvenience and his response was " did you eat everything? I said no and he said he would take my six dollar drink off the tab and then I said well I'd like the meal taken off and he said he wouldn't. Then the other manager yelled and said thank you can leave now, I guess she doesn't want to be helped. ". LONG STORY SHORT THE DELRAY IPIC IS WAY BETTER. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE HAD AN EXPERIENCE WHERE IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET MY FOOD AND THE RUDENESS WAS UNBELIEVABLE.
