True Food Kitchen

Ordered several things off the menu. The pizza was alright, but too heavy on the paprika garnish – so you get a bite of powder. But the worst was the vegan burger. The burger wasn't grilled it was clearly baked/broiled. So the cheese didn't melt, it simply got crusty and dry. The patties, because they were broiled, were incredibly dry and hard. The edges were hard and inedible. The patties were overcooked and burnt in the center as well. The burger tasted terrible; it was incredibly sweet. Turkey burger was also dry and had little sauce. We paid an upgrade for "crispy" air-dried fries (did not come free with burger entree). About half of them came raw – cold, white potato, not just undercooked. The rest were warm but no color. The server, who seemed to actually be the bartender who was closing the bar, kind of apologized and brought some new ones. The new ones had some color, so they were at least mostly cooked – but they were not crispy and there was no seasoning; not even salt. We came in later, but was told by the staff it was okay – though they told us they locked the front door. It was just kind of a strange vibe; maybe the staff was tired, but it was still not a great experience overall. The food was awful, and the menu execution seemed not to be chef-led; many basic mistakes in preparation. There are much better options in the same plaza with far better service and value.

See Photos. Items overpriced. Food portion does not meet the prices charged. I'm very disappointed with the amount of money paid for the food and 20% tip. $5 Delivery charge is very reasonable. Ordered right after opening, delivery was pretty quick(40-45min). Website was nicely laid out, photos very convincing lol. At the time of writing this, I don't know what it tastes like, I'm so disappointed and feel ripped off. I chose this place because of advertised clean food. Gave 2 stars for having clean food. We all are looking for better food options, but they will need much more to last or stay around. The value just isn't there. *Update* 11/07/2025 I never received a response from the general manager. The response from the owner is just words with no intention of making it right. Reduced to lowest 1 star. At this point I don't even trust that the food is clean. 10/17/2025 I did reach out to the email provided, as requested in the owner's reply to my review. So far I have not received a response from the general manager.

We went to True Food Kitchen for dinner. Overall, it was a really good experience. The food is very flavorful and the prices are fair. The server was friendly and answered our questions about a few different dishes. I ordered one of their more seasonal pizzas, which had sweet potatoes, lemon ricotta and mushrooms. I was leery to order it because the ingredients are an unusual combination, but based on the servers feedback, I went ahead and really enjoyed the pizza. The crust was a little bit doughy on the top, but it was OK and the flavors were really good. My husband ordered a chicken quinoa with salmon, pesto sauce, sweet potatoes and portobello mushroom, which was very excellent and very filling. Our favorite order of the evening was the appetizer – we had edamame pot stickers and it was delicious.

Walked by this place at City Place. I had the tuna poke bowl and their brown sugar iced latte. It was delicious. Perfect portion size for lunch. They have cute outside and inside seating as well. Price point is a little high.

I took the Brightline down from Orlando and took a day trip to West Palm Beach. I wanted to eat at something fresh and outdoors with a good view. True Good Kitchen came through on all fronts. Dare I say the butternut squash pizza could have used a balsamic drizzle. My first attempt at flourless chocolate cake was amazing.
