Plant Based Mafia – Italian Kitchen PBG

The most amazing Italian food I've ever had! You definitely will not fugetaboutit! I cannot wait to come back, we'll worth the 3 hour drive!I am unable to adequately express the excellence of this experience. From the service to the very last bite. The food is outstanding, with some sort of gastronomic sorcery taking place in that establishment. I was unable to detect that anything was vegan, and we departed planning our next adventure. Thanks for the enchanting experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend! After meeting the owner of Plant Based Mafia in PGA earlier, we decided to stop by and experience it for ourselves. I’m not vegan, but the food honestly blew me away. The fried “shrimp” appetizer featured nine perfectly breaded pieces, crispy on the outside and paired with a fresh house made cocktail sauce. The skillet mac and cheese arrived sizzling in a cast iron pan and was pure comfort food done right. And the vegan cheesecake… absolutely outstanding. This place proves that plant based dishes can be flavorful, filling, and seriously satisfying. Friendly atmosphere, creative menu, and everything tasted incredible. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my second time at Plant Based Mafia and even better than the first. We weren’t going to get an appetizer, but decided to go with the crab cakes and soooo glad we did. They were crunchy on the outside and ever on the inside, very flavorful, and reminded me of a crab cake. We got the creamy Alfredo pizza and the meat lasagna. The lasagna was delicious and had meat in every bite. Very flavorful and filling. The Alfredo pizza was out of this world. I don’t even like spinach and I devoured them. Veeeeery filling, but that leaves you with more for later! The service was amazing. Chef Howard even came out and introduced himself to us. Already thinking of what I’m getting the next time I go.

Plant Based Mafia kills it without whacking animals! I take my omnivorous family here, and they enjoy it as much as I do. Food is fresh, made to order, and has a classic “homemade” feel and taste to it. We really enjoy the deep dish pizza, Kosher Kowboy sandwich, and the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer. Come hungry—portion sizes are very generous. Fun “mafia” inspired decor that contributes to the atmosphere. Service is excellent as well.

As someone with dietary restrictions I have tried many vegan restaurants. NOTHING compares to Plant Based Mafia. It is mind blowing that the entire menu is vegan, and the gluten free options are incredible. The food itself is amazing, but what makes the experience is the service. Ethan and Jason are the best. Ethan takes great care of every guest and was great with our allergies. We always leave the restaurant with such a warm feeling—like we just left our family’s table. If you want life-changing food, a feeling of home, and wonderful conversation this is the spot for you.
