1- ask for Javi. Excellent recommendations and service. 2- dairy free options!! Made from scratch to order meals. Excellent Carnitas and black beans. The carnitas was moist and three enchiladas in a serving! I got the red sauce on the side. I Could not finish. The black beans are smoky and just the best I’ve ever had and I grew up on Cuban food. 3- carnitas burrito has the beans and meat and rice. The rice is not dairy free. Amazing place.

A crew member and I just visited this spot on our layover and as a first time visitor, it was 5 stars. We got there around 5pm (on a Sunday). The host said it would possibly be an hour wait for 2, so we asked was the bar first come guest serve and it was. We were able to get 2 seats in about 10 minutes. We actually also got called for regular seating in about 20 minutes but opted to stay at the bar. To our surprise there was a great happy hour going on and we ordered several items from the menu. I had a prosecco and rose, as well as the fish tacos and tamales. No complaints. I’ve lived in Mexico for a few years, so for some restaurant tamales found in Florida, with a little salsa and sour cream, these weren’t bad at all. Absolutely loved my fish taco as well. My crew member is a former bartender and had 4 drinks and said he loved them all. He ordered so much food off the Happy Hour menu I couldn’t keep track, but he was very pleased. Lol. The bartenders were very professional and personable, and just had overall good positive energy. Our food and drinks came out very quickly. For our final orders, it took a little longer because there were more people. So I can imagine on a packed day service may take longer for your orders. Lastly, the prices are perfect. I definitely feel you get your money’s worth here for the Happy Hour menu. Overall this was a great first visit and I definitely look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in the city.

Happy hour has great deals. Bar gets packed, so get a spot early. They tend to change out the margaritas on happy hour. Today I had the key lime, hot honey, and guava habanero. Unfortunately, they missed the mark today on drinks. Usually they are spicy and on point, but tasted all like mix with zero spice.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was right. The restaurant is beautiful, warm, stylish, and welcoming without trying too hard. You feel relaxed, but also like you’re somewhere special. That balance? Not easy. They nailed it. We started at the bar, and honestly, that set the tone for the whole night. The bartender was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind, excellent service, no attitude, no rush. Just old-school hospitality done right. The drinks were on point, smooth, well balanced, and made with care. Then we moved to our table, and from there the night just flowed. Great food, more drinks, lots of laughter, and time with friends, the kind of evening that feels easy and full at the same time. The service never missed a beat, and everything arrived beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Comfort food with intention. Tradition, but polished. Overall? Great restaurant. Great service. Great ambiance. One of those places where the experience matters just as much as the food, and that’s how it should be. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. ✨🍹🌮

El Camino is easily one of my favorite spots for happy hour in the area. The classic margaritas are excellent, and I really appreciate that they ask if you prefer salt or sugar on the rim, it’s a small detail that makes a difference. At around $6, it’s also a great deal. The food is solid overall, and the salsas served with the tacos and chips are especially outstanding. The place gets busy, so be prepared to wait a bit, there’s usually a line for happy hour tables, which says a lot about how popular and worth it it is. Service is mostly great, the hostess and most of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The only downside has been one server who consistently has a poor attitude, not just with me but with other guests as well, which can affect the experience. Overall, still a go-to spot for happy hour, great drinks, good food, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.
