Hyatt Place West Palm Beach/Downtown

If you’re staying in downtown West Palm Beach, Hyatt Place West Palm Beach/Downtown is a really solid choice that checks all the boxes for comfort, convenience, and overall experience. The location is one of the biggest highlights—you’re right in the heart of downtown, just a short walk to CityPlace, Clematis Street, and tons of great restaurants and nightlife. It makes everything easy whether you’re in town for business or just enjoying a weekend getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well laid out, with comfortable beds and a nice setup for relaxing or getting some work done. Guests consistently mention how comfortable the rooms are, and you can tell the hotel is well maintained. One of the underrated perks is the included breakfast—it’s actually good, with plenty of options to start your day without needing to go out right away. Service is another strong point. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes the whole stay feel smooth and stress-free. Overall, this is one of those places that just delivers a consistently good experience—great location, comfortable rooms, solid amenities, and a reliable stay every time. Definitely a go-to spot in downtown West Palm Beach.

Beware of strict hotel policy and very rude general manager. We are aware of the no cancellation or refund policy of a prepaid reservation and we do respect the rules but as Hyatt Corporate and other Hyatt hotels advised there are always exceptions like medical emergencies. The hotel general manager, Schallin Logan at this hotel however was very rude, uncaring, condescending, and has terrible Customer service skills. She could care less that my son had a medical emergency and had to have surgery and was not able to go to his one night reservation and she did not care either that he had medical documentation to prove it. She not only refused to refund his money, but had a very bad attitude on the phone and even admitted that she could refund it, but chose not to. That is no way to take care of a customer and we will absolutely not be booking any more reservations at this particular hotel.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Hyatt Place West Palm Beach! From the moment I arrived, Cletus, the Manager, made me feel so welcomed and truly valued as a Hyatt Globalist (one of the many reasons I absolutely love the Hyatt brand — the customer service is always exceptional!). Djully, at the front desk, was also incredibly kind and warm — she went above and beyond to make my check-in smooth and pleasant. The hotel’s location is perfect — an easy walk to great restaurants both on the island and in downtown West Palm Beach, making it so convenient for exploring. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Overall, I would highly recommend Hyatt Place West Palm Beach to anyone visiting the area. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

Great location, 15 min walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to Clematis Street. Buffet style breakfast was included which we could not fault. Rooms very spacious and beds comfortable. Parking was easy and area surrounding the hotel was very clean

Yall the folks were so lovely here. The beds, soooo comfortable. The water pressure crushed it! But the elevator. It takes so long, when working. I just came to run up, grab my bag and check out. I pressed the up bottom at 10:19. I didn’t get up to my room on the fifth floor until 10:26. I know I know, what’s six, seven minutes? Well, too dang long for an elevator lol stay here but get a floor level room or first floor so stairs are reasonable!
