Crunch Fitness – Wellington

Sharing recent photos from the Wellington, FL location of Crunch Fitness. I’ve been a member for 3 years, but this location has been a real disappointment. These are just a few of the machines that have been broken for an extended period of time. Beyond the equipment issues, the overall cleanliness of the gym has been unacceptable. I’m hoping Crunch Fitness will address these concerns promptly.

The gym itself and weight area is fine. The bathrooms are absolutely DISGUSTING. This gym always has a ton of people working and the bathrooms are always gross. I can’t wrap my head around why non of the people working here can’t clean. The bathroom floor is gross, toilets are always clogged, and horrible plumbing in the sinks as well. Currently, not one toilet is working in the women’s bathroom. Also, this is an ongoing problem with this gym and this is why I’m writing this review.

Crunch has poor customer service and a policy to incorrectly charge people. Crunch keeps charging me after I canceled my membership, and no one at Crunch has returned my calls or emails about this. The few times I’ve managed to speak to someone at Crunch, they just told me to contact someone else and have not tried to resolve the unauthorized charges. I see that this is happening to many other people, too, based on the other reviews. This whole thing has been a headache and I’m still waiting on my money to be refunded. I’m leaving this review because I wish I’d known how bad this gym is so that I could have avoided joining in the first place! This gym is not at all worth it.

They say, “Never miss a Monday,” and that couldn’t be more true when it comes to my experience at Crunch Wellington. Angelica is a breath of fresh air—especially on a Monday when the gym is the last place most people want to be! She’s always friendly, always smiling, and genuinely seems happy to see us. I already love my Crunch experience, but Angelica definitely helps me start the week off on the right foot!

Horrible billing and business practices. My wife was a loyal member since they opened. She stopped going to the gym many months ago due to lots going on at home, and was still paying her membership without using any services. She had to cancel her credit card, and when they could not get payment they charged her account for 3 more months, then sent her to collections over it. On top of all that they owed her for unused training sessions, which they agreed to refund, but despite multiple communication they never issued any credit or refund for them. It's a shame because the gym is nice, albeit crowded, but the scummy billing practices are really bad.
