From start to finish amazing!!! We frist ordered drinks a corona a lemon drop martini which was soooo good. What we ordered to eat was hands down delicious!! As appetizer we had the big boys buffalo chicken dip and sweet thai chili calamari OMG! As our entree we ordered the grown up grilled cheese and the Aloha burger. Can say enough everything was delicious!!
While visiting the area for a wedding someone suggested this amazing place. We could tell right away that we would love it. Friendly staff and our server was excellent and knowledgeable. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We ordered a biscuit and graveyard to try it was fantastic. Shrimp and grits was tasty. Aloha burger was cooked perfectly and the yuca fries were delicious. We would love to go back. The atmosphere had such a fun vibe. Till next time.
Guanabanas is one of those places that feels like a true Florida experience. The entire restaurant is outdoors, but don't let that deter you—there are plenty of fans throughout the property that keep things comfortable even on warm days. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special. It's a beautiful tiki-style restaurant right on the water with lush tropical landscaping, a small river-like water feature running through the property, and live music that adds to the laid-back island vibe. You truly feel like you've escaped somewhere special. The food was good, and while it is a little on the expensive side, that's to be expected for a waterfront restaurant in such a unique setting. You're paying for both the food and the experience, and the atmosphere definitely delivers. If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy a meal, listen to live music, and soak up some classic Florida waterfront charm, Guanabanas is worth the visit. (My kids weren’t a fan of the Mac n cheese FYI)
Great food, delicious drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere! The Tears of La Llorona shot was a fun highlight 😋🥃. The relaxing vibes and beautiful tropical scenery made this a wonderful place to unwind. Highly recommend!
My wife and I stopped in here for a Tiki Bar drink on March 23, 2026, about an hour before boarding our semi-private Flying Lady Boat Tour, which picks up its passenger at the dock directly behind Guanabanas. This place is VERY POPULAR, especially during the winter and spring tourist seasons, and you pretty much have to use the valet to park here unless you know of a free spot about half a block up A1A from here. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks a light appetizer. The bar was already packed at 2:45 in the afternoon, and most of the tables were also full. The atmosphere here is really cool and reminded us of the Jungle Cruise ride at Adventure Land at Disney World. We also went back here the following night for dinner and the food and service was pretty good in spite of the crowd. It's definitely worth eating here for the tropically-themed food, ambience and laid back island atmosphere, but only if the weather is good because it's all "Al Fresco" seating. Also, if you just want to have drinks (Sundowners), you can order at the bar and sit out on the dock in one of the many Adirondack chairs that they have here.
