Mittleman Eye

Good morning! Just left your operation very disappointed and very disillusioned. I was referred b y one of your clients who highly recommended you. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes earlier just in case. Then 30 minutes past my appointment time, Sean came to do all the measurements for my eyes. This Technician is a wonderful person. Then he brought me to a room after dilating my eyes. This is where it started to crumble. Siuny came to sit me in the shop and asked me some questions and told me that my benefits were not accepted and that I would have to pay $75 to get my prescription and go to a place where they will redo the exam and get me the glasses. I was so outraged that I left with my eyes dilated and no one stopped me to see what was the problem. So, I never saw the doctor, I am sure you will bill my insurance for services not rendered. You have no manners,no customer service and definitely Sean should not work for that place. You feel like a cattle moved from a farm to another.

I made an appointment to be seen for a swollen eye and paid out of pocket since my health insurance wasn't covered. The wait was at least 30 minutes to be seen which wasn't awful but the fire alarm lights were flashing the entire time which was ironic considering we were in a building for people with eye issues. When I got to the room the nurse was super kind and nice but had to call in a student doctor. The student doctor was very abrasive and almost rude at the fact I did in fact have pink eye and was now infectious. She told me I would have to wait in the exam room until another room could open. When I told her I was pregnant so she could make sure my treatment was planned accordingly she was annoyed because it meant they could not dilate my eyes. After about 10 minutes waiting in the room for the other doctor the nurse stated she would be moving me to another floor–after I had already been made to feel guilty that I was infectious, clearly I could not have been that high risk if they were moving me. She moved me to a new floor but the room wasn't ready. She told me to sit in the waiting room (remember when the student doctor was very adamant that I couldn't leave the exam room?). I waited another 30 minutes before being called back, at this point it had been about an hour and a half into my appointment. When I got to the back Dr Deibele came in and looked at my eye, stated I had conjunctivitis, told me he was prescribing steroid eye drops, and to come back in 2 weeks. He was rushed, rude, and not friendly. The student doctor interrupted him and stated that I was pregnant–which Dr. Deibele didn't even take a moment to look at my chart to confirm. He huffed and puffed and said "Great would have been nice if I would have known that, well that complicates it all. Cancel the medicine. You're going to have to tough it out. Use a cold compress." Of course it was in my chart and the student doctor who already knew that was also in the room so there was no need for the shaming of me being pregnant. He told me to check out and come back in 2 weeks to get dilated–for which they had already told me I can't get dilated because I'm pregnant. I paid the $145 and left frustrated and told to use a wet washcloth and tough it out. I will never, ever go back to this practice. It's such a shame because the reviews are so good but STEER CLEAR of Dr. Diebele. He is truly awful.

Everyone was so nice, However Frank( in the eye glass section) made my experience a 10☆. This gentleman was so helpful, pleasant, courteous just overall excellent. Mittleman you have a great team! I highly recommend them, call today. Thank you once again.

Dr. Stephanie Cuellar is very knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes the time to care for her patients. In addition, the entire staff consistently provides a great customer service experience. The facility is modern, well-equipped, and designed to meet all of your eye care needs.

Excellent communication. Easy registration for new patients (pre-arrival). Appointment was thorough and Dr Luzon was detailed and compassionate. Techs were awesome too! Shout out to Sabra, Maria, Cat & Finley!
