Urgent Care Delray Beach: Dr. G's Urgent Care

I have always loved Dr. G's, and it has served as not only mine, but my entire family's go to urgent care center for many years. When I recently visited last week, I had a wonderful experience with the provider themselves as usual, but the rest of the staff and aesthetics have really gone downhill and need help. First and foremost, the person working the front desk asked me to openly state the reason I was asking to be seen, in front of other patients, which I was not comfortable with, and I was given check-in forms that were intended for someone requesting medical clearance for an MMA fight. She was not directing other patients in the waiting room to refrain from placing used pens in the clean pens container. Since COVID-19, I take this very seriously, especially in a physician's office and does someone who works in healthcare.. Secondly, I was left in an exam room waiting for the provider that was completely downtrodden and with no air conditioning, only a sad little fan on the counter. Unacceptable. Finally, when I was directed to leave a specimen in the restroom, it was absolutely unsanitary. There was a broken commode left in there, and it clearly had not been cleaned or maintenance in quite some time. Not only that, but the medical assistant never even told me what cups to put it in or where to leave it. Again, unacceptable. Speaking of which, the medical assistant simply read verbatim from a sheet and was clearly not comprehending or listening to what I was actually saying. I am posting this, not as a criticism but as feedback in the hopes that this place will go back to the wonderful facility it once was so that my family and I can continue enjoying it for years to come. I live very close by to Dr. G's Urgent Care and have gone there for many years for a variety of health issues. It is more convenient for me to go there for minor issues instead of the hospital or doctor's office, which are always very busy. I tell everyone about this location. Each and every time, the staff and doctors have been excellent in every way!!! They are caring, knowledgeable, professional and clearly and patiently explain the process and at-home care that I need to continue. They have a pharmacy for filling prescriptions at the same location so that you don't have to stand in line and wait at your regular pharmacy to fill it. I will continue to use Dr. G's Urgent Care in the future if need be. Thank you so much for your excellent service and positive, understanding attitude. Keep up the good work!!!

I had a bad experience. I arrived with sharp chest pain. The receptionist was very rude. I understand the urgent was gonna close in 15 minutes but it's urgent care. You should care about the patient condition not to make a face and making grinding sound like a child and asking to pay up front and saying nothing else can be done they can only run one test and they do not prescribe the medication if needed. Then what is the meaning of urgent care if you really can't care.

I can’t thank Dr. G’s staff enough! I went to Dr. G’s Urgent Care for some pretty bad lower back pain, and I honestly had a GREAT experience. I was seen quickly, and the staff was super kind and understanding from the moment I walked in. The doctor actually took the time to listen to what I was dealing with instead of rushing me, which I really appreciated. They explained everything clearly and helped me come up with a treatment plan to manage the pain and start feeling better. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and aren’t just trying to get you in and out. The whole process felt smooth, professional, and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend coming here if you need urgent care and want to feel heard and taken care of.

I had a great experience at this urgent care. The doctor was very attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to address all of my concerns. The nurse was also incredibly kind and caring, making me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I truly appreciated the level of attention and professionalism I received. Highly recommend!
